My work is about the half-second before people

remember they're being photographed — the glance,

the laugh that comes out wrong, the kid who forgets

everything and just spins.

I shoot weddings, families, and portraits the same way

I shoot strangers on the street: with patience,

with distance, and with genuine curiosity about

what makes someone themselves.
